This email is a sincere KUDOS to your company and your product. I have struggled for years with my skin and my beauty regimen. I have tried every product on the free market to control my ruddiness, my oiliness, my pores, and my acne. There has never been a total solution that tackles each issue--until now. I have tried, with great satisfaction, your eye colors, but was nervous to try the foundations, Mineral Silks and Dusk til Dawn treatment. But now I am a believer!

*I used the DtD for about three months. Within the first three night treatments, I noticed a TREMENDOUS improvement in the surface of my skin, including oil control and acne appearance. I used it as a sealer when I finished applying my makeup for daytime, with great results for long-term oil control.

*The eye colors are fabulous! I even use some of the blushes, such as Seduction, Temptation and Radiant Glo for contrasting pink eye shadows. I love to play with color combinations, and have been mixing and matching them. It's a virtual playground for color addicts!

*MOST OF ALL: I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the foundation and mineral silk. I use the 2N foundation and the Lt-Med mineral silk. My face stays perfectly oil free all day, and I even slept in my makeup (usually a CARDINAL sin on my behalf!), and had--no joke--BETTER skin appearance the next day. I didn't even bother to reapply! The foundation smooths ruddiness and surface feel, and the mineral silk is a wonderful finishing touch.

Dear Everyone at Larenim:

I just wanted to say thanks for making a great product. I found out about you at my local health food store, so I investigated you on the web. When I found out I could order samples to find the best color matches, I was thrilled. I had tried the other, name brand mineral make up and had a reaction to it. I don't know if it was reacting to the products I was using for my acne prone skin or not, but I was out $60. I now own the full size foundation in the right shade for my skin (and no reaction!). I like how smooth it makes my skin look. And you are right about it minimizing the look of large pores. I actually experimented with liquid make up that uses talc and your make up. The liquid makeup did nothing to make my pores look smaller. You were the winner, hands down. I also love the sample sizes of eye shadow. I have sensitive eyes and find going through larger, pressed shadow kits to be nearly impossible. I'm still using the sample of Taboo I originally bought and I love it. Those other kits are languishing in my make up box! Thanks for making such a great product. Those sample sizes are a god-send to anyone who wants to try a color or find a match for their skin tone. The size is good, it lasts a good while and you aren't out a lot of money before you find what works.

Where have you been my whole life? I just jumped into the mineral makeup world after years of using name-brand chemical filled cosmetics and spending thousands of dollars on making my skin look worse through these department store brands... only to find myself having to use more of their junk!

So, why it took so long? Weird, for me, a clinical Ayurvedic Specialist... all this training in Herbs, Diet, Nutrition and overall balance. Why did I not start a decade ago? Well, My first job at a day spa, I did learn the importance of skincare. It was focused on taking care of my skin through moisturizers, facials, glycolic peels etc.I thought skin care was that. Nobody mentioned the makeup I was using was clogging my pores. Then, working at a department store soon after as a sales rep for fragrances.

I got those discounts and trades on "expensive name brand makeup." I fell deep... using all these brands. Boy was my skin in for a surprise down the road!

Here I am 29 years old, a model with an expansive career — everyone thinks those pictures are real life! The truth is Photoshop. My pores were so clogged and I had a type of adult acne. Not the kind with surface red pimples. This was a direct link to all that "OTHER" makeup, clogged pores and bumps underneath the skin everywhere!

I finally looked into "Natural Makeup," and started buying different lines of mineral makeup. Finding my color has been a challenge and then I found Larenim.

I am a few months shy of 40 and this is the first email I have ever written singing the life changing praises of a product. I have battled oily skin , large pores and pimples since my teens. I have never really liked to wear makeup but needed it for cover up of outbreaks all the time. Which I now know was definately only making my skin worse. When I found your website and cliked on "about us" it all sounded way to familiar and your nighttime routine was also mine, I thought I was the only one that lived that life.That is why I chose to try your product. WOW!! My skin has never looked or felt better and I literally cannot wait to get to the mirror in the mornings to see how clear my skin is and how much it keeps improving overnight!! Just had to tell you how much I love the Northern Lights and Immortal. I have loved all of the shades. I purchased them from your web site and from Whole Foods. I have loved all of the many shades I purchased.

Things I love about Larenim:

• The product:
  • The colors: bight, sparkly, unique and like a breath of fresh air.
  • Everything has been kind to my very very sensitive skin. (I just remembered yesterday how sensitive my skin is when I bought an eye liner from some other brand we shall not name - ouch.)
  • The coverage of the make-up is as think or as thick as you want. One thing I do with the eye shadows is put a liner on first and then the color and it has a heavier application.
  • The blush is great and I found I loved blending colors.
  • Everyone compliments me on the eye shadows - I find people staring at my eyes. ;)
  • The Immortal gold shade brings out the green in my eyes.
  • The coverage and color of the foundation is very nice.
• The web site:
  • It's easily navigated.
  • I love being able to see the shades of every product on-line!
  • I love being able to order sample sizes and regular sizes.
  • Overall it's a very impressive site.
• The in-store presence:
  • Is wonderful. The product put on that display case is very nice and classy and accessible.

About 2 months ago I stumbled upon your product in mylocal Whole Foods in Philadelphia. I bought itwithout really knowing about the product becausesometimes I like to take a chance on something unknownwith the hopes of it being THE ONE product for me thatwill change my life. Usually I am let down. Well,this time the chain was broken! YOUR PRODUCT CHANGEDMY LIFE!

I too have suffered form acne since I was 13and well, I have tried just abouteverything....medicated creams, diets, vitamins, beepollen, medications....I even went on Accutane in high school. With hindsight, I see how terrible all of those things were for me and how, even in the 90's,there was little or no understanding of acne prone skin.

I think it goes without saying that being cursed with acne really damages one's self-confidence. I am now 30 and have very acne-pocked skin. I only wish that your product was around earlier in my life, but I feel so fortunate to have found it now! My skin feels andlooks so much better...and there is much less redness!

It is important for me to feel and look confident as I am a professor of art and have to address the class for demos and lessons constantly. I am also an artist and MUST look refined and feel confident in gallery situations.

I found your website one day while searching the Internet. I know you receive MANY e-mails raving about your product, and I would like to send another one!

I am 37 and a breast cancer survivor--cancer free for over 2.5 years!! After having cancer I decided to drastically change my lifestyle including my diet and the products I use on my hair and body. I do not use any chemicals or petroleum based products. Needless to say, it has been challenging at times to find products that are effective and not irritating.

Cancer actually brought many blessings into my life--yes, it is true; however, I also faced some challenges. Due to the drastic changes I made, I had mild breakouts for the first time in over 15 years--not good! After much trial and error, I learned how to manage my hormones and control the breakouts, but I could not find a light makeup that worked for me.

Hi Kirsten,

I have purchased a plethora of your mineral make up colors. I am fascinated with the shades of color, the nuances the minerals contain as opposed to "traditional" colors. Unlike most of the "traditional" eyeshadows these do not crease during the day. My facial make up remains fresh and clean looking without changing color. Other blushes would tend to "bleed" onto other areas of the face with "traditional" make up. With the mineral make up my blush remains exactly where I put it!

I appreciate all of the effort that went into to producing so many colors of eyeshadow, foundations, blush etc. Some time ago I had purchased a liquid mineral make up at a Salon. It was a disappointing experience because the foundation only came in three shades. I chose the lightest and it was okay but not nearly so perfect as your Porcelain Glo. I haven't found any other mineral cosmetic company that offers the choices such as you have. Congratulations! I've been a Make Up Artist and Skin Care Consultant since 1979 so I have tried myriads of make up brands. Yours will be my final choice. Never again will I purchase those "traditional" cosmetics that contain chemicals etc.

Dear Larenim,

Your products are amazing. I have struggled with acne for years and every type of makeup I have ever tried just made my face worse. I have combo, VERY sensitive skin. I have actually got most of my acne under control but I was left with tons of bright red scars! I use to have a horrible problem with being oily, but NOW I know it was a result of the type of makeup I was using before finding Larenim.

When I apply my Larenim Mineral makeup my face will stay the EXACT same ALL DAY. I never need to re-apply. I included these before and after pictures that I took this morning. The top picture and the bottom 2 are only about 15 minutes apart and you can see how dramatically different my face looks, but it looks natural and comfortable not cakey and overpowering BUT covers better than anything I have ever tried!

I love you guys so much and I will use Larenim for the rest of my life! I recently converted my best friend to using this stuff as well. When I did her makeup for her she couldn't believe it!

I am almost 20 years old and I am SO glad that I found this stuff when I did. I agree, my skin would probably be in a world of trouble if I had never discovered Larenim.

Finding Larenim also talked me into trying more natural skin care products. I was at a horrible level of acne when I was using makeup filled with chemicals and washing/treating my face with aggressive overwhelming products! I now use Larenim for my makeup of course and I found DeVita Skincare which is all nautral and I love it!

It's amazing how much my acne problem has improved since I started using this (about 8 months ago). I pretty much am just addressing my scarring issue now, which will hopefully fade soon. I went to Fruitful Yield in Darien IL this past Sunday and Shelly did a make-over on me using Larenim. I have had many make overs and tried every brand that the drug stores sell along with Clinique, Clarins, Prescriptives, Mary Kay, Beauty Control and of course Avon. I wanted to let you know that I am noticing that my face is beginning to clear up and my pores are getting cleaned out. Thanks to you! I am so grateful for your beauty advice and I consider you a great friend. You are truly a compassionate and caring person.

Since it is out of the question for me to travel to Ohio and thank you in person, I want to send you a special gift from me. I make handmade Swarovski crystal jewelry. As far as wrist sizes go, an average wrist is a size 7. I have bony wrists and am petite, so I wear a 6 1/2. I hope that helps you determine your size. Once again, I cannot thank you enough and I am always out there promoting your makeup and Mychelle skincare as well.

Miss Idaho USA 2007 Contestant

My name is Lacey Arbaugh. I am running in the Miss Idaho USA 2007 pageant this October 27th and 28th. It is my desire to represent my State of Idaho and County of Jerome, where I have lived my entire life.

I am currently working at Moose Java part-time while also attending the College of Southern Idaho as a full-time student. I am studying to get an Associates of Art. I eventually plan on finishing with a Bachelors of Interior Design/Architecture at the University of Idaho.

I enjoy doing a lot of outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, motorcycle riding, hiking, fishing, and rafting. I love to read, draw, make jewelry, scrapbook, sew, travel, sing, and play my guitar. I am also very interested in eating healthy foods and using natural products, which help make the environment a better place. Keeping myself healthy by working out and exercising regularly is also very important to me.

To compete in the pageant, a $950 entry fee is required. Since I have always lived and grown up in Jerome, I am graciously asking my family, friends, and Magic Valley businesses or residents if they would be willing to sponsor me in this fantastic experience by helping with the entry fee. Any amount will help me get that much closer to the finish line. If I receive the title of Miss Idaho USA 2007, I will represent my state and conduct myself with pride, honesty, and integrity.

Eating right, drinking lots of water, exercising and staying fit, and having a positive attitude and outlook on life produces real beauty. None of these, I might add, can be found in a jar or tube. Adding mineral makeup, if done correctly and not overdone, just adds to our natural radiance and enhances what's already there!

I have to say I LOVE THIS MAKEUP! I ordered the pressed foundation and mineral silk and I am soooo happy with the way my skin looks. I have finally found the best mineral makeup thanks to Larenim! I was using a very popular line of mineral foundation (not to mention any names) and not so happy that within several hours my face was oily and I had to reapply. I had no idea that the Bismuth Oxychloride was causing the large pores and shine. I found Larenim in a local Earthfare store and I am so glad I did. I will never use another makeup on my skin!!!! My pores are so much smaller and the foundation stays on all day and there is no oily skin. I love the dusk till dawn treatment and have ordered some eyeshadow samples, can't wait to get them. I just wanted to write to tell you how much I appreciate both your helpful answers to my questions and your extraordinarily fast delivery of your great products. I?ve always had problems with finding makeup for my pale complexion and the sensitivity of my skin made mineral makeup a must for me. I tried to wear BE foundation, but the additives made me itch and breakout and even the "fair" foundation wasn?t fair enough for me.

I found your website during one of my web searches. I quickly ordered samples of your loose Porcelain Glo and Pallor foundations, as well as some blush and eye color samples, but I was so excited to see that you?ve recently come out with pressed foundation in the Pallor shade. It?s great to have a pressed mineral foundation that actually matches my extra pale skin tone. I also love the Hocus Pocus corrective minerals ? it gets the red out! ? something that anyone with truly fair skin will tell you is virtually impossible to really cover up. I can?t wait to explore the rest of your product line.

Dear Larenim,

I have only recently started using your products, but the difference is incredible and I wish I had learned of them years ago. I am 31 and have had severe acne since I was 15. I have done Accutane and Retin A and just about every harsh product the dermatologists recommended and nothing ever worked. I just kept covering up the damage with more and more products in a vicious cycle that just made my skin look worse.

The acne has improved in the last year or so since I have been seeing a naturopath and changed my diet, but not since I switched to your mineral make-up have the breakouts stopped entirely. It actually feels GOOD on my skin. I especially love the Hocus Pocus concealor, it works great for covering up my red scars. And the foundation and mineral silk smooth out my skin so the scars are less noticeable.

I finally tried the pressed foundation, and I love it! I couldn't imagine anything was better than the loose, but this really is! It covers sooo well, without having to use much product at all. And I don't even need touch-ups throughout the day. In addition, I think my skin is even clearer than it was with the loose. Is this possible?

Please don't ever discontinue this product. By the way, your color recommendation of 2WM was perfect! I use a slight dusting of my medium shade Mineral Silk, some Forbidden Flush blush, and I'm ready to go. Thanks so much for all your help.

I wanted to mention how much I love the superstition. I really hadn't used it until recently. It's a beautiful way to highlight the cheekbones naturally without shine. I have been using cosmic to contour, a touch of radiant glow in the apple area then highlighting upper cheek with superstition. Love it!!

Hi I bought your mineral loose foundation this weekend and LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have used bare essentials for a few years and wasnt crazy about my color match, but didnt know what other mineral brand to buy. until I saw yours and tried it on in Henrys. You probably hear this all the time, but THANK YOU for the goth collection! Thank you so, so much for saving us from bad-quality, toxic cosmetics -- some of us really do care about our skin.

I'm fair but quite olive in tone, but I still find that Pallor makes me look as pale as I want to without being a cakey mask. And that gorgeous, slightly-blue sheen? Yay! I find it to be on par in finish with Stila's illuminating line, but the difference is that at the end of the day, I wash my face and my skin isn't red, itchy and angry.

I love your product because it does not feel tacky or look tacky on my skin. I've used other mineral products (one from a very well-known company) and none compare to yours. I am writing to inform you of my complete satisfaction with your product. It seems that in our culture today the only feedback companies receive from consumers is an angry telephone call, so I thought I would take the time to write you an old-fashioned thank you.

After reading Kevin Trudeau's Natural Cures "They" Don't Tell You About, I became concerned with the amount of chemicals with which I was overloading my system through cosmetics. I began to experiment with natural cosmetics, but as a novice, failed to read the ingredients of supposed "natural" cosmetics and was horrified to find I had still been using cosmetics that were full of parabens and sulfates. I was, however, still incapable of finding cosmetics that worked well in spite of being chemical free, until I found Larenim.

I love the vibrant shades you provide! After all, just because I'm trying to be healthy, doesn't mean I don't want to look pretty while I do it! Most importantly, your cosmetics don't cause me to break out at all. I wish you had some sort of interactive thing to help customers find the appropriate shades for their skin color, though! It's been tricky to see how shades will look on me.

What extraordinary interest you display toward your customers! I so much appreciated the information you sent regarding an approximation of how long the mineral make up would last!! I am accustomed to purchasing those liquid foundations that are generally weighed at 1 or 1.5 ounces etc. so I was wondering if I would have to purchase a mineral foundation on a monthly basis.

Your products are equally extraordinary. I purchased a liquid mineral foundation from a nearby Salon and although I did like it much better than Chanel or Christian Dior I wanted to try the powdered mineral make up. By searching the website and choosing the one that most impressed me I found yours. I prefer to shop on the internet because I've been around enough sales as I worked as a Make Up Artist for Christian Dior, Chanel and a few other companies to know that sometimes aggressive sales techniques are used which often cause the purchase of a product or color that one simply did not want.

The representative who took my phone order was beyond polite. She was very helpful and friendly.

I can't tell you the difference there was in my skin after applying the mineral foundation! I only needed to use a small touch of powder to the forehead, cheeks, chin and then begin blending with my make up brush. I didn't even need the second layer; although I did apply a light layer of silk powder over the foundation. My husband and I could not believe how this foundation brightened and evened out the skin tone! The blush was equally impressive. With a tiny bit I had enough for both cheeks and the color blended as smoothly as a cream blusher. My skin was so radiant! I loved the opal eye shadow too!

Needless to say I am looking forward to my next order!

Thank you SO much for this line of makeup! I am 25 years old, and after using every kind of makeup possible, both the cheap and expensive, I have FINALLY found a line of makeup that doesn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts. Seriously, at 25 I should not be getting pimples still. But even expensive brands like Clinique that claim to be non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic still gave me rashes and breakouts.

I am one of your new and in love customers. I had been using Bare Essentials for awhile but was not at all happy with the way it looked nor with the ingredients. Then I saw your product while shopping in the PCC stores in Seattle. It's so hard to find a good color while standing in the middle of the grocery store, so I just kept looking at it but never bought it. Then, I saw that there would be an in-store demonstration. And it was even on my birthday so it was perfect. The representative, I'm almost sure that her name was Angelique, was wonderful. She looked absolutely beautiful and she really knew about the products.

She matched my foundation perfectly, which is a 4W. On the spot, I bought the kabuki brush and the blonzer brush and the foundation. Then, I went to the Bee Well Vitamin Shop and bought the shadow brush and the medium bronzer. The Bee Well Shop is such a sweet little boutique that it's very nice to try on make up in there.

Now, I plan to get two concealers (vodoo and fair maiden med), which Angelique showed me, which completely hide all the darkness and circles around my eyes.

Larenim achieved what until now I considered to be impossible. It made my pores disappear. No, really. I followed the tips that came with the samples and "sandwiched" a layer of Dusk and Dawn between layers of foundation. It worked! The foundation can do that alone, too. And another "miracle": I went for a long, strenuous walk (that?s how I exercise) and when I came back, the foundation was still on and my face was not even shiny! I would like the foundation to have a bit more coverage, but that?s just because I?m very self-conscious about my acne scars (although hubby says they are not that obvious).

I just want to say how thankful I am to have learned about mineral makeup and Larenim in particular. About a year and a half ago a bought some eye shadow from MAC and had a horrible reaction to it. All eye makeup has been a problem ever since.

I purchased samples of eye shadow, foundation and blush and have even gone to bed with it on. I am happy to report that I haven't had any itchy, watery, or matted up eyes. I am so thankful to be able to wear eye makeup again! You offer a great selection of eye colors.

After finding your site, I did some more research and learned about the differences in mineral makeup; you are a cut above and I am glad to be educated on the different ingredients and their effects. It is easy to narrow down the field when some companies include rice starch and bismuth oxychloride as part of their products. Also, your own ingredient list helped me to eliminate the pressed powder foundation because I am allergic to tocopheryl acetate.

Your web site is the most user friendly that I have ever come across when shopping, the colors show up great and while some may cringe when paying for samples, I am thankful that I can try out the colors and quality before committing to a major purchase.

I just want to rave a bit - I bought your foundation, kabuki brush, blush, and two eye colors at Wild Oats, and I have to say, I have NEVER enjoyed wearing foundation so much! Well, never enjoyed it at all actually. I've got sensitive, oily skin, and I hate the cakey look I've always gotten from makeup — so fake! Ick! With this, it's like my skin, only better. Not only that, but I can still see my nose freckles, which is a major plus. My skin already looks clearer, miracle of miracles. I'm tossing out every foundation I own — and that's a lot. Kudos to Gina Guia who introduced me to the Larenim products on June 20, 2006 at Whole Foods in Pasadena. I've always used very minimal makeup, i.e. eyeliner & mascara, since anything more looked unnatural and too heavy. Gina did a makeup demo with concealer, foundation, blush and eye color. The products feel very light, stay on all day, they make my skin glow and my friends have noticed too. I found your make up at Whole Foods in San diego. Until then I was using the "other" mineral make-up line and was not happy. I am a professional actress who is very paranoid as to what I put on my skin( I also have breakouts periodically and wanted something natural).

I have been on a life long hunt for the perfect make-up. I have a unique situation in that I have extremely sensitive skin, extremely fair skin, and I am not interested in "warming my skin tone up." I have literally used every single product currently on the market, from drug store (eeeek!) to high end department stores. I found love in a product that was later discontinued and the hunt was on again. Alas, nothing is ever light enough in colour or sensitivity. Again, I THOUGHT I found love with a high end liquid foundation.

While the tone of this high end line's lightest foundation, coupled with the "translucent light" powder was a match — the sensitivity exploded in acne. For years I treated the acne and continued to use the liquid simply because it was a colour match.

Someone suggested another mineral line to me to as an extremely gentle line — alas their super light foundation was about 2 or 3 shades too dark for my naturally "goth pallor."

Getting desperate I started to google random phrases in hopes of finding an unexpected idea on new products. This is how I found Larenim!

I ordered samples of Procelin Glo, Mineral Silk and Goth Pallor. The combination was PERFECT! The product is super gentle (great for my super sensitive skin!) And Larenim's light foundations are INCREDIBLE! It is a pleasure to find a line that keeps in mind that there are some of us that enjoy our paleness!

I must admit, I am used to slathering my skin problems in heavy liquid. It is taking a bit of time to get used to the fact that Larenim makes it so that your skin does not have any problems to hide with a heavy liquid. The natural aesthetic is a bit to get used to but I have gotten so many compliments on the way my skin looks while I am wearing the products!! No one says "Gee your make-up looks good." They ALL say "Wow, your skin looks amazing!"

After I had already tried your product, I then saw you received a nod in Gothic Beauty Magazine. Get your name out there! There are so many of us just dying to have a great pale, gentle product!

YOUR LINE IS GREAT! I ordered some samples of foundation, dusk til dawn, a blush and some eyeshadows. I was happy to get my order before going to a wedding this weekend. I used the makeup and it felt like I had nothing on my face. I haven't been a huge makeup wearer because my skin is oily and I could never find anything that would not slowly melt off of my face within a couple of hours. I've just been perusing your site after placing my order for my first full-size foundation. It's a good thing I didn't read the testimonials before I ordered and tried the sample products, because I would have thought your products were too good to be true, but they really are that good, and better!

I have extremely sensitive, reactive skin that has a lot of redness similar to rosacea but with no puffiness.My skin is also very fair, which makes every blemish and flaw look even worse. I saw your products in a store near my work called "The Good Food Company", and tried a dab of foundation out of curiosity/boredom. I picked up a brochure and perused it while I was eating lunch at my desk. I didn't read very long before I decided to order a few of your samples. Well, now I'm hooked! Two days after applying my Larenim samples, my skin completely (or so I thought) "calmed down" - less redness, excellent skin tone and texture; it was great! I knew then that I would be placing an order for your foundation and more. But since then, my skin has continued to improve. So much so that some days I now don't even wear makeup!

Needless to say, I'm thrilled! Thank you for creating a wonderful product, and putting it on the market.
